How to submit an article to Developing Horizons Magazine
Developing Horizons Magazine documents how Christians expresses the core values of the Kingdom of God – its relevancy and application in the present-day society. DHM promotes awareness and action regarding current issues in our community, state and nation. We welcome submissions that relate directly to this focus.
Each issue of DHM includes a series of articles focused on a theme—about solutions to a significant challenge facing our world—and a number of timely, non-theme articles. Our non-theme section provides ongoing coverage of issues like health, economics, drug/alcohol abuse, personal testimonies of faith lived out in the market place that glorify God. For past examples, please see our back issues. Go to DEVELOPING HORIZONS MAGAZINE
DHM is not interested in simply bemoaning the problems that face our society. Instead, we highlight solutions in action that address the roots of our deepest human development and social issues. We emphasize engaging storytelling and factual accuracy. We are especially interested in authentic stories of positive change from the grassroots that can serve as models and inspiration for others. DHM desires to promote Christian values and how these could bring about transformation and progress.
Articles are submitted to DHM solely on a voluntary and non-paid basis
We greatly prefer electronic submissions. Features are generally 750 – 1200 words in length, and the Commentary section (500 -750 words), Photographs and pictures related to subject matter are encouraged. [those articles under the heading ‘corner’ should be no more than 500 words]
Send electronic submissions to Judy Mapp, Administrator – email@example.com. Please send all attachments in either text or PDF format. Please allow at least three months for a response. Please include your full name, credentials and contact information.
